The Editorial Team
EWRConsultation’s editorial team brings together a Managing Editor, specialist section editors, fact-checkers, and contributing researchers with expertise in UK transport, planning, and public consultations. We work collaboratively, with final editorial responsibility held by the Managing Editor.
Editorial Line
Our coverage is non-partisan and evidence-based. We prioritise clarity on processes, timelines, impacts, and stakeholder perspectives, distinguishing news, analysis, and opinion. We avoid sensationalism, favour primary sources, and aim to make complex material accessible to general and professional readers.
Journalistic Values
Accuracy, fairness, and transparency guide every article. Claims are corroborated, quotes are contextualised, and relevant data or methodology is cited. We offer a timely right of reply where appropriate and disclose any material limitations or potential conflicts.
Ethics and Deontology
We are guided by the Editors’ Code of Practice and NUJ principles. We separate editorial from commercial interests, label sponsored content, protect sources, and respect privacy and copyright. Errors are corrected promptly and visibly. We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and applicable law.
